About Myself

Biodata 

My name is Ong Huey Shin. I'm currently studying in Taylor's College Subang Jaya. The course I'm taking is Cambridge A-Levels, March intake 2015. The subjects I am taking are Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I was studying in SMJK Yok Bin for 5 years. I'm 18 years old, born in April 9th 1997. I'm a Chinese Buddhist. I'm adapting to my college life.

Club & Rank

I was the Secretary of the Chinese Language Society in my secondary school. I was also a prefect for five years. I'm a Green House member and joined cross country for five years. I was also a St. John Ambulance member. I joined the prefect camp twice in my secondary school. It was fun and I learned many extra knowledge that I did not learn in class. As the secretary of the Chinese Society, I prepared many documents and reports whenever there was a program held by the society. I also needed to inform all the members that there was an activity being held. I had duties in many school occasions. As a prefect, I'm responsible for the students' attitude and maintaining the discipline of the school.

Achievements 

In 2014, I completed my SPM. In 2015, I get my results. I achieved my goals, that is 7A+ 3A and 1A-   I'm a Grade 8 pianist. I started learning piano since I was five. In 2014, I got an award that was 'The Best Subject-Chemistry' In 2013, I got the 'Magnum Academic Award' for getting the first place in the class rank during Form 4.  I joined the Chemistry Quiz in 2014 and National Science Quiz in 2013. I got a Distinction in the Chemistry Quiz. In December 2013, I went for a Homestay program in Japan for 11 days. I learned about the social culture there and I love it very much. During 2015 January to March, I went working at a kindergarten nearby my housing area in Malacca. It was a truly great working experience.
